Claire Marsden runs Crystal Zen Palace on a principle that’s easy to say and harder to do: know where everything comes from. Based in Driffield in the East Riding, with a crystal room tucked inside The Four Pillars Wellbeing House in Scarborough, she hand-picks every piece she sells, working directly with small, often family-run suppliers around the world rather than buying job lots.
What that means on the stall is quality you can see. Selenite towers, amethyst geodes with that deep shimmer, raw and polished stones of every kind — alongside the more unusual, made things: crystal crowns, botanical headbands, pendants and necklaces. She also carries the wider kit of a calm evening in — alchemy candles, incense, singing bowls, shamanic log drums, and Tarot and Oracle decks.
If you’ve ever stood in front of a table of crystals feeling slightly lost, Claire’s the person to ask. She’s spent a long time with this, and she’ll happily talk you toward a stone that suits what you’re after rather than the most expensive thing on the table. Away from the festivals she runs guided crystal meditations — including sessions aimed specifically at easing anxiety — and small mindfulness circles.
Something to try before you come
If you already own a crystal that’s ended up in a drawer, dig it out and put it somewhere you’ll actually see it — the windowsill, your desk, next to the kettle. Half the value of these things is that they catch your eye and remind you to pause. A stone you never look at can’t do that.
Claire brings Crystal Zen Palace to the Mind Body Spirit & Wellness Weekend, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026 at Stockport Masonic Guildhall — one of over 70 readers, healers and stallholders across the two days.
