Kay Chung (KC Holistic Crystals)

Buying crystals can be a bit of a lottery if you do not know what you are looking at. Kay makes it easier. She runs KC Holistics, hand-picking crystals, gemstones and spiritual tools she is happy to stand behind, and she will have her stall at the Guildhall across both days in September.

Kay is a qualified reiki and crystal healer, and she started KC Holistics in 2018 from Sale. That background is the difference on her stand: the pieces are chosen by someone who works with them, not just sold by weight.

Hand-picked, not bought by the box

Kay hand-picks her stock from suppliers in Brazil, Madagascar and Morocco, choosing for quality rather than filling a shelf. The range runs well beyond loose stones: bracelets, rings, necklaces, anklets and earrings, along with crystal sets, home pieces like suncatchers and bookends, and cleansing tools. So whether you want something to wear, something for a windowsill, or a starter set to work with, there is a good spread to look through.

Reiki-charged pieces

A lot of Kay’s stock is reiki-charged, which is where her practitioner side comes in. If you are curious about what that means or which stone suits what you are working on, she is the person to ask, and she can talk you through it without any pressure to buy. Crystals are best thought of as supports for your own focus and intention rather than a fix for anything, and Kay is honest about that.

Who tends to visit her stand

Kay’s stall suits complete beginners and people who already keep crystals in equal measure. Some come for a specific stone they have read about; some want a piece of jewellery that carries a bit of meaning; some just like handling stones and seeing what draws them. Any of those is a fine reason to stop by, and browsing is welcome.

Something to try this week

You do not need a shelf of crystals to practise the habit behind them. Pick one small object, a stone from a walk, a pebble, anything that fits in a palm, and keep it somewhere you will see it each morning. For a week, let picking it up be a two-second prompt to name one thing you want to hold steady that day. The object is not doing anything on its own; the value is in the small, repeated moment of intention, which is exactly how a crystal earns its place in a daily practice.

Kay is one of over 70 readers, healers and stallholders at the Mind Body Spirit & Wellness Weekend, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 September 2026, at Stockport Masonic Guildhall. Her stall, like every session across the weekend, is included with entry.
