Mischa Haddow built The Soul School Programme out of her own life, not out of a textbook. An Integrative Therapist, Professional Kinesiologist and Reiki Master, and a mother of three, she spent over twenty years working through her own health challenges and family struggles before arriving at the approach she now teaches. It combines professional kinesiology, trauma therapies, nutritional guidance and spiritual connection into something built around a single aim: helping families reconnect, children rebalance, and mothers become more empowered.
Healing through the generations
The name of her Halloween session, “The Soul School Programme · Healing Through The Generations,” is not a marketing line — it is the actual shape of her work. Mischa’s approach looks at generational, ancestral and epigenetic patterns alongside the more immediate, practical stuff: nutritional needs, digestive issues, inner child work, codependencies, and balancing masculine and feminine aspects of yourself. The idea running underneath all of it is that a pattern of illness or self-sabotage often did not start with you, and that untangling it means looking further back than the symptom in front of you.
Her toolkit reflects that breadth. She is an Associate of the Kinesiology Federation and a Professional Kinesiologist through the International College of Professional Kinesiology Practice, a member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners and of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. Alongside kinesiology and Reiki, she works with therapeutic art, Emotional Freedom Technique, Family Constellation work, a kinesiology diploma’s worth of nutrition and digestion, and meditation, spiritual practice and sound essences. It is a lot of modalities, and Mischa’s own description of them is the most useful summary: to name a few.
A bespoke starting point, not a fixed programme
What holds all of that together is a belief that the programme has to be built around the person, not the other way round: bespoke, designed by you and for you, on the premise that your body already holds the answers and that you are your own healer. That is worth knowing before you sit down with her — this is not a one-size approach delivered the same way to everyone in the room.
Something to notice before you come
Here is a small, low-stakes version of the generational awareness her work is built on. Think of one habit, worry or reaction that shows up in you and that you can also see, or remember seeing, in a parent or grandparent. You do not need to do anything about it, and you do not need an explanation for it. Just notice that it is not only yours. That act of noticing — that a pattern has a history longer than your own life — is close to the starting point of everything Mischa teaches.
Mischa brings The Soul School Programme to the Rosemary Douglas Mind Body Spirit events, including “Healing Through The Generations” in Workshop Room 1 at Mind Body Spirit · Stockport Halloween Festival, Saturday 31 October 2026 at Stockport Masonic Guildhall. Like every session across the day, it is included with entry. You can find more about her work at thesoulschool.com.
