Nintu Sentu brings a stall you don’t often see at a British mind body spirit event: authentic ceremonial pieces from Peru — from the Andes and the Amazon — sourced directly and fairly from the artisans and families who make them. That sourcing is the point as much as the products; the brand exists partly to keep money and recognition flowing to the communities the crafts come from, rather than to churn out mass-market copies.
What’s on the table is genuinely beautiful. Hand-carved kuripes worked into the shapes of eagles, jaguars and serpents. Large hand-painted Shipibo altar cloths covered in the geometric patterns that map the healing songs of the rainforest. Ceremonial gourds, rattles, and bamboo flutes made by people who’ve made them all their lives. Alongside the objects sit the botanicals: sustainably harvested Palo Santo, copal resin, agua de florida, and their own Nintu Sentu Protection Oil, blended for clearing and grounding before quiet or meditative work.
Even if you never intend to use any of it ceremonially, it’s worth stopping simply to look — each piece carries a real tradition and a real maker behind it, which is rarer than it should be.
