Ayurveda is one of the ancient medical systems in the world originated 5000 years ago in India. Literally meaning the wisdom of lifecare, Ayurvedic medicines have proven value for managing mental and physical wellbeing.
We are living amid of immense pressure from all directions-physical, emotional, social, environmental and occupational. As a result, the challenges of human wellness in 21st century is alarming. Loneliness and isolation remain the key features of our life. Severe damage to global environment and environmental contaminants in the food chain are capable of accumulating toxic concentration in the body causing poor psychological and physical health.
The Talk will be an introduction to Ayurveda’s insights on human health and wellbeing and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Dr Sreenath Nair is the CEO of AYUS Ayurveda Lifecare Clinic. An academic turned into a physician, he comes from a family of traditional Vaidyas in Kerala with some unique access to treatment methods and medicinal knowledge of Ayurveda through the family lineage. He is a registered practitioner of Complementary Medical Association (CMA), member of the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM), CPD accredited, and recognised by the department for promotion of industry and internal trade, Government of India.

Stockport Masonic Guildhall is located on Wellington Road South (the main A6 road) which runs through the centre of Stockport and is only minutes from the M60 motorway.
We have extensive parking for in excess of 100 vehicles, the care of which is supervised by their Security Personnel whenever the building is in use. The cost for parking for visitors attending the event is only £3. Paid Direct To An Attendant No Machines Cash or Card . Please see map below.
Public Transport
We are situated on many major bus routes, notably the 192 route which runs between Manchester and Hazel Grove, and stops outside the Guildhall. Stockport railway station is only a 5 minute walk away, Please see map below.
